Dear friends of Bella Acapella!

We had a fabulous time in Helsingborg.
Thanks to all your contributions we were 29 singers and our MD on stage. We have shared many new experiences, the audience loved us and we had a good score with room for improvement. This was our first time on an international stage and we see this as a next step on our music journey.
We had a fabulous time the whole weekend, with lots of singing on and off stage and great bonding between our members.

In the preparation we enjoyed our Dress rehearsal concert in Moncarapacho on April 26th. At the end of the concert, our amazing coach Paul Davies was presented with the Honorary membership of Bella Acapella. 

Paul Davies the legend of International Barbershop and coach extraordinaire, has been working with Bella Acapella for many, many years. Paul qualified as a musicality judge with the British Association of Barbershop Singers (BABS) over 30 years ago and was awarded a place in the society’s Hall of Fame

With this Honorary Membership, we recognize and celebrate his intense coaching efforts over many, many years. His friendship and professional guidance have contributed to the long-term success and artistic growth of Bella Acapella.
 

We are now winding down after the convention and also winding up before our new adventures. Soon we’ll take a well deserved summer break but we will have a hectic and fun fall. We hope that you’ll enjoy all the concerts we will have.

1. On 4 and 5 October “The Skyline Sisters”, an all women barbershop chorus with their 42 singers from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, will visit us and we will have two concerts together with them. It will be fantastic!  Can you imagine singing with more than 70 singers together?
2. On 25 and 26  October, we are invited by the Portuguese chorus “Grupo Coral Ossonoba” to sing in Faro at their yearly Chorus Fest. There will be two concerts there as well.
3. Finally, we are eager to organise Christmas Shows at the beginning of December. Stay connected to our social media for updates on our Christmas show.

We will keep you updated as the fall comes along, with dates, places and times, but until then we wish you all a very lovely summer wherever you spend it.
